The Kranzberg Arts Foundation is dedicated to the fight against racism and discrimination in all its forms. We stand in solidarity with black people around the world and with all the black artists, staff members and colleagues who make up and represent our street. From cultural appropriation to the exclusion of black artists and people of color from opportunities and canonization, the arts have been and continue to be a space that perpetuates systematic racism. As an arts organization, we have an obligation to work to end systemic racism in our community. In order to combat systemic racism, it is essential to take aggressive action to address the structures, policies, and practices that contribute to the wealth gap, health disparities, and inequalities in access to education, outcomes, and beyond.
